Last night with John Oliver on charter schools. They do not do well as I'm sure you have already surmised. As always, he provides full documentation to back everything he says.
He doesn't just bring a knife to slash them, he goes after them with a machete and with excellent reason as these schools have almost no oversight, there's no evidence they perform significantly better than public schools and they cost $7,000 on average in taxes per kid.
