After listening to Trump with regard to Muslim countries, the immediate impression of Americans couldn't go much lower but he represents a small minority just as did Clinton.
Not even a week ago, a mosque was torched in Victoria, TX, and was completely destroyed. Officials continue an investigation but let's try fairness with this one since they haven't had much time.
In that short time, someone set up a GoFundMe and it's overshot the target handily in a request to help rebuild the mosque. (RT: Americans raise $975k to rebuild Texas mosque that perished in fire)
Note: there was no fire insurance on the mosque; the loss was total.

Instantly some patently evil anti-Muslim law which is openly anti-religious instead of anti-combatant inflames a great many people. A rare few of them start fires. A much larger majority of people makes no noise whatsoever and instead looks to see what can be done to try to repair the damage. On seeing an effective move, they make it quickly. There's no Walt Disney in this since you can read it just happened.
