It's Just a Kid's Dream-Come-True Story

Ashlin Albright fell in love with a '55 Chevy Bel Air and she just had to have that car.

Mother suggested Ashlin should work hard and save.  Then she would be able to buy that car.

So she learned how to weld and she did save.  A year later she bought the car.

By the way, Ashlin is ten-years-old.

Note:  she also welds her crafts

Maybe you would like to see the car she bought.

Ed:  it's just a beater!

Take it easy, NASCAR Joe, as the kid has a plan.  First she wanted to accomplish the first part in acquiring the car and she is continuing with her crafts projects to earn the money to tune up the motor and get it repainted.

You can see the body needs more than paint but her dad taught her about welding so I'm sure he can teach her how to deal with rust.  It actually looks surprisingly good considering the car is over sixty years old.

Let's try this one ...
