So Far, Ithaka Hasn't Missed a Point on the Political Circus

We said from the early stages Clinton is not trustworthy and we would not vote for her.  As you saw, when she didn't get what she wanted, she disappeared like Casper the Ghost.

We said from the start we did not want to get radioactive and have had no reason to trust Obama on that since his disingenuous speeches on the matter belied altogether his push for enhancements to the nuclear program by heavy development of tactical nukes.

We have railed multiple times about Obama doing things on the sneak (e.g. NDAA, Patriot Act, etc). He has been almost demanding a positive legacy but there's no basis for it, any more than there was for awarding him a Nobel Peace Prize.  Cadillac Man also questions how history will remember him and CM's focus since uni has been on history.

We have slammed the CIA multiple times and now the statists are running scared because at least some of them see we were right and the CIA is just as evil as we have been saying.

Ed:  it's a bitch being right all the time!

Lotho, I know you share the frustration (larfs).

It appears people bailed on Ithaka but they didn't.  Hits ran just under a thousand yesterday and a few more the day before.  That's about where Ithaka runs most of the time except for when the Russkies were coming around.  Just what people reading seems to have shifted but they're sure reading something here.

The trouble with Blogger is Google really doesn't tell us too much about what it's doing beyond which were the most-read articles in the last week.  When there are thousands of articles in Ithaka by now, it's almost impossible to discover what happens with the others on a day-by-day basis other than to see 'it's a lot.'

It looks like most hits to Ithaka come from Google Search so whether Democrats / Republicans love me / hate me really doesn't amount to much more than a small pile of beans.

Therefore, Ithaka won't waver since it's of no more interest today than the first one whether we're pleasing people or whether we're saying what people want us to say.

Ed:  don't you want to be liked?

Sure and so does anyone but not at the expense of truth, etc.  This is not Facebook.

We still note with amusement how people run from anything negative about the CIA but those ones we don't need.  The ones we respect are those who observe and make up their own minds.  Y'all regulars are an impressive lot.

A major difference is that you read and trust Russia Today as a gospel like news source. I see it as just another arm of a propoganda machine not much different that Fox CNN AP etc. They all have their agenda and honesty usually isnt part of it. Sometimes they are right but BFF that is usually by accident

Possibly but RT hasn't been caught in a lie whereas CNN and Fox have been busted for many. So long as that record holds, I'll continue to rely on them but they're useless to me if the get like the others.
