I Might, Maybe, Have a Little Problem with Depression ... Perhaps

Must alienate people as otherwise I run the risk they might like me and then bad things will happen.  We have seen this before.

That's the same logic which gets kids arrested for making clocks.

Note:  Bill Maher has announced his expertise in bomb-making by presenting his analysis the kid's clock looked like a bomb.  Next time a terrorist bomb needs to be disarmed, we will call him to do it. Who knew he had such knowledge.

Richard Dawkins did the same thing.  Maybe they should form a tag team to disarm the bomb.  If it works, maybe they will fall in love and make baby Arrogants to carry on after they're gone.

The situation is depressing.  It's impossible to solve and that will screw anyone around.  The trick is not getting screwed around by it.  Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

I apologize for the harshness of late and that's a prime example of why I do not have a gun:  I would use it but not on you, on me.

There's only one salvation and and Billy Crystal's Saxman has it exactly right:  in the end you only have three things but you only need three things, your woman, your horn, and your music.

The salvation only comes when you play it, everything else is waiting.  Stirling Moss said that about racing and that's exciting when you're young but they're only trophies when you're old.  My family had racing trophies all over the place and we threw them all away decades ago.

Your woman, your horn, and your music.

He doesn't have audience in that list because the best music never gets recorded.  That's the time when you're playing and you don't think or aren't aware anyone can hear you.  Solo or with your crew, it's the same.  The only way you will ever hear that music is to hang out with the band and many times it won't come until two in the morning, after everyone else goes home.  That's when you will hear music played only for the gods and you don't even know if they hear it.

But the offering is still worthwhile.  Can you dig that, Face?
