"Hey Mister Ganja Man" - Silas Live in Cincinnati (video)

One thing for sure about stoners:  we don't fuck around when it comes to throwing parties.  We have the Reefer Warriors, the Tennessee Sheriff, and The Demon Preacher (i.e. the Raven).  That'd be Silas playing in the background.  The guitar is a Godin xtSA, a MIDI-capable instrument,  one of three of the One True Loves of his life (i.e. they were all Godin xtSA guitars).  There were three going out to the road and one remains ... but the Galaxy Guitar is a beauty.

If you have never seen battling marijuana plants, today is your lucky day.

One of our number was called the Car Bomber but that, naturally, is with no disrespect to real car bombers.

Maybe you heard some of the ultra-elegant blues from Clapton and B.B. King and some other friends of theirs.  This is, well, not that.

In no particular order:  Car Bomber, Bear, the Sheriff, the Raven

Note:  Kevin appears in this one.  Much love to everyone who was there and especially to him.  Who can ever know what comes.  This is a look at a kid having fun and he did too.  Sure he was stoned, we all were, and it was a gas.

The Galaxy Guitar

She has had one hell of a rough life as her neck has been broken, not once but twice ... it's been some hard traveling.  She even rode on the back of a scooter from Greece to Scotland and survived a crash in Nice, France.  You will never find a guitar more bad-ass than that.  She is the sweetest playing and the most beautiful sounding guitar I have ever known.

The above does not mean this guitar is in any way wrecked.  She is in a state of perfect setup right this minute.  The MIDI Access is bumpy but I don't need it that much anyway.  It was cool to play the guitar and have it come up like drums, tho.  That was a hoot.

There's much cooler stuff you can do with MIDI Access as I found the combination I loved the best was distortion on the signal from the standard pickups plus a fat, padded synthy chorus behind it from the MIDI pickup in the bridge and this would make a sound rich like a Pavlova cake with kiwis and strawberries.
