There's No Quick Fix

The situation is somewhat better but it will be a while yet before it stabilizes.  There is a scheduled doctor appt with VA on Thursday.

And that reminds me:  get a flu shot

The awareness of the why of various things will hopefully give better ability to deal with them and prevent 'spin off benefits' ... which hardly anyone likes.

There is no intention to go back to endless reports on medical status.  This time blowed up real good or you wouldn't be hearing anything.

So, this paranoia, etc will hang for a bit yet but, wtf, it just makes me like everyone on FB.

(Ed:  is this the cover your ass in case you fuck up?)

Possibly but it wouldn't work for that anyway.

Rather than medical matters, there are serious things we need to know:

Was Kathy Bates really the scariest woman of all time in "Misery" when she whacked James Caan.

Answer is no but that will take some time to write and substantial depth on anything will have to wait just now.

If you wish to do some advance research, the Countess Elisabet d'Bathory seems a worthy opponent for scariest woman of all time.  She bathed in the blood of dead virgins because she thought it would keep her skin soft.  Look her up on WIKI if you like.

I've previously taken battlebot suggestions from people, particularly for best and worst Presidents.  If there's some woman you think deserves a crack at the title, go ahead and suggest her.  Please avoid suggestions like Nancy Reagan as I could make a case ... but why.  This isn't about annoying women but rather about a woman who scares the crap out of you.  That should be sufficiently succinct.

Note:  I also don't want to tangle with NAZIs and there are multiple valid contenders for the title but they can't fuckin' have it because I don't like fuckin' NAZIs.

One distant possibility is the King of the Pirates ... who was actually a Queen ... and operated out of China.  It would take some research to discover if she was really terrifying, tho.  My impression is she was the Grand Dame in the background and she wielded immense power but it's not clear if she was personally terrifying.
