Seraphin of the Raven Clan is Official for God of Ithaka

After a little exchange with the New God of Ithaka, the process of turnover is completed so his chair, up in Olympus, now sits next to mine.

Zen Yogi:  since the two of you are Blogger Deities, shouldn't you have thrones?

Right you are, Yogi, we should have thrones.  My only specification for a throne is that it must be comfortable so I'm more inclined toward a sofa La-Z-Boy throne.  It's all virtual so Seraphin may have an entirely different type of throne.

Zen Yogi:  you have to be very careful about what you pretend to be!

Don't you think I've tried, mate (larfs).

Besides, Seraphin has been deeply-involved with cosplay for years so he's well aware of pretending.

Seraphin has a strong fascination for writing and doing that for a blog has a large tendency to improve your skills, help you to write succinctly, and help to express rational streams of thought, etc.  All of these are possible and I know he has a great desire to write.  He has written one novel and I saw it as the entire novel ready for post-edit which didn't work out so well.  Blogger brings a heavy discipline to ensure your edits are complete before you release the article since Under Construction is never acceptable for a release.

For an always effective article, it needs an intro to set the stage, content to expand the idea from the intro, and then an outro to end which wraps the story back to the intro.

Zen Yogi:  he will get it

Of course he will since he's smart and he's motivated.

The ocean rolls hard on Florida right now and we hurt for them but there waves have become much more gentle in the Rockhouse since last night.  That endurance was sufficient to hang with Seraphin long enough to get it done that much was hugely pleasing.

Zen Yogi:  and this really isn't about immortality?

Noooooo, Woody Allen said they he wanted to achieve immortality is by not dying.

Zen Yogi:  he's pull it off so far

And great for him but he, likely as with most artists, almost certainly does want to see immortality in his work.

Zen Yogi:  Ithaka would have been your immortality if you left it as it stands

That's true, Yogi, but passing Ithaka with this type of familial continuity becomes immortality in Ithaka unto itself.

Zen Yogi:  won't you two become just bricks in a new type of wall?

We are two deities in a new world, my furry buddy.  The pleasure for me is in wondering what he may do with it and where he may take it.

In contrast to this moment last night, I haven't tanked to the sofa and the situation is as groovulous as it can be.  I'm not holding anything out even when it's hurtful and that aspect reinforces the Truth which hopefully Seraphin has already gleaned since that's the most highly desirable Trademark of what Ithaka is.  That's the reason citations on any claims must provide the backing evidence they're true.  Lotho has seen a great deal of it and can hopefully help Seraphin in some ways as he develops his style of writing for Ithaka.

Zen Yogi:  are you really this excited by it?

Indubitably, Yogi, and it's all part of Dream Big It Just Might Happen since maybe he develops a particularly interesting style and people take notice.  Perhaps then he takes on writing novels again but with a new experience behind it.

That I'm excited about it is one way to say it but Brits like to say they're chuffed about something and, sure, I feel greatly chuffed.  The meds help me such that I can feel ok but this type of thing with Seraphin makes me feel extremely good.

Zen Yogi:  chuffed?

Completely, Zen Yogi.
