The Skies Are Blue

But there's a whole lot of strange floating through them.

Meanwhile, it's approaching 85F again and that's when life gets civilized.  Then it's time to open the windows to let in some life.

New Englanders hate this because they only enjoy life when it's so cold the inside of the nose freezes every time you breathe.  Even better, your own breathing can make an icy glacier of your mustache.

God help me, I love the North.

Ed:  especially the snow blowers?

Oh yeah.  It takes an especially vacant mind to use such demonic and offensively-loud devices.

At 85F, life approaches normalcy.  Nothing within it is particularly normal but the temperature is suitable for civilized living.

Ed:  white people can't handle all that heat and sun!

Well, white people can't really handle it anywhere but Scandinavia, mate.  You have to be careful with those Vikings, however; they have dynamite.

So the skies are blue
and roses are purple
and ...

Ed:  you're strange

Maybe but this is the strange in reaction to the bigger strange which, I might add, is exceptionally strange.  It doesn't appear there's any new cataclysmic thing in-play but, dayum, things do get weird.

When it gets that weird, there's only one answer:  just got to screw with it and see what happens.
