When Collecting Stamps is More Progressive than Anything Else in Washington

Here's the newest glory of philately and the U.S. Postal Service invented it.

Ed:  NASA is plenty progressive!

Don't you think they stay out of a hellhole like Washington as much as possible.  That's where progressivism goes to die.

The Total Solar Eclipse Stamp:

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. -- The U.S. Postal Service is going all out for this summer's total solar eclipse, with a first-of-its kind stamp.

Just touch the stamp with your finger, and the heat transforms the image of the blacked-out sun into the moon. Remove your finger, and the eclipse reappears. The trick is using temperature-sensitive ink.

Oregon Live:  Touch new stamp and presto, total solar eclipse becomes moon

You can always trust your Socialist Postal Service for reliable service, inexpensive rates, and really cool stamps.

Ed:  why can we count on them?

Big Pharma has nothing to do with them and no insurance company can turn you down for them.

Announced Thursday, the Forever 49 cent stamp comes out in June -- on the summer solstice.

Ed:  but is it as cool as the Jimi Hendrix stamp?

Cooler doesn't have anything to do with it since I have a page of Hendrix stamps already.  I have got to get some of those eclipse stamps, tho.

Ed:  why when you hardly ever send letters?

Because if I do send a letter, it will be a cool letter.  Ha.  They go to Mystery Lady.  I rest my case.
