It may amuse you to hear them praising things about these cars which you will probably find ridiculous. Hearing them play the new Age of Jets was crazy since many of these cars had wings on them. Jet commercial aircraft weren't really happening yet but they did love those military jets.
It's also unusual in the way they do the pitch since there wasn't a Bikini Babe in the bunch. Every speaker is one more man in a suit.
My family didn't arrive in America until after this decade had played out so I have never seen these commercials previously and it's funny to see them now. I notice few of these lines of carmakers survived. Yes, the Edsel is in this video.
Note: Detroit couldn't even give away the 1958 Edsel resulting in one of the greatest automotive failures in the history of car manufacture.
