Marveling at the Absurdity

A kid went out to mow the grass today at his parents' place and he found a dead body in it.  We all know that feeling and I guess he just waited too long on that lawn.  (Fox8:  Ohio teen finds man dead of overdose while mowing grass)

Mike Pompeo has been going berserk slashing WikiLeaks and Julian Assange but he left out the tiny detail that he used WikiLeaks as a reference repeatedly during Trump's campaign to slash Clinton.  (CNN:  CIA director Mike Pompeo repeatedly cited WikiLeaks to attack Clinton during campaign)

We love the melodrama of Gotham City practicing nuclear preparedness since apparently it takes coordination to tell people, "You're fucked.  Kiss your ass good-bye."  (The Gothamist:  Operation Gotham Shield Will Test Nuclear Preparedness This Week)

There won't be anything left of Gotham City except charcoal briquettes after a nuclear strike.  The Rockhouse is not clear on what preparation is needed to be a charcoal briquette.

Like George Carlin said, "It's all bullshit and it's bad for you."

Many decry the protest since they're afraid we will take what they have but they don't really have anything except promises they will ever get their money back.  That trust goes to the same people who bounce the economy around like they're playing beer pong.

There are illusions everywhere.

There's the giant blue snake which writes poetry and sings lullabies but often people do not accept it as real.

Ed:  that's just a bloody illusion!

Sure ... so was 2008.

The Smothers Brothers got fired for this show and CBS was so pissed they never aired it.  David Steinberg is at +26:40 and his bit is what did it.  End of the road.

That set wouldn't raise an eyebrow today.

So, uh, wtf??
