Joe Biden Implies Democracy is Over but, More Accurately, He Is

The vote of the Electoral College was certified by the Senate today and some die-hard tried to protest but only those losers still believing in Santa Claus, government love, and Russian hacking are holding that position.

After that vote, Joe Biden said, "It's over," which, in his Midwestern eloquence means democracy is dead and we will all be eaten by catfish.

Note:  in the unlikely event you care, Biden is actually from Delaware.

It's more accurate to say Joe Biden is over as the self-immolation of the neo-Democratic Party plays out.  (RT:  ‘It’s over’: Desperate protests in Congress fail to prevent Trump presidency)

There's only one word for Joe Biden now:  unemployed.

In my life, I've never seen such an example of disloyalty to the democratic process as has been observed with Obama / Clinton and I've never seen so-called Democrats heartily endorsing the positions and policies of the CIA.  It's like the entire Democratic Party electorate became Tommy and went deaf, dumb, blind, and bereft of any morality all at the same time.

The protest regarding Al Gore's defeat was valid since it was shown how the Florida vote was stolen but the Supreme Court said it was legal and it just turned ugly after that.  Since there was no evidence America had hacked the vote as it did with Bush, instead the Democrats invented all this rubbish about Putin influencing the election.  That Putin had no respect for Clinton is not news but only twenty-five percent of American voters thought she was worthy of respect so she lost (shrug).

Note:  fifty percent of American voters abstained from the vote and Trump / Clinton split the remainder; neither has any kind of a mandate.

The latest is the suggestion Hillary Clinton will now run for Mayor of New York City since she apparently regards that as a consolation prize after failing to win the Presidency.  When asked why, she gave the same reply as Willie Sutton, the famous bank robber, for why he robbed banks:  "that's where the money is."

Clinton most likely sees the mayoralty as a launchpad to spike Chelsea Clinton into politics after Mommie Dearest taught her all she knows about milking foreign governments for money.  Those two ought to be banned or in jail.  After what Bill Clinton did with all this, the best place for him is Spandau.

I thought the limit of Obama's betrayal was in reneging on his promises to bring the troops back home but he even went beyond that.  I've never seen a Democrat so embrace the CIA as if he's on the family plan with that incestuous outfit.

Cadillac Man didn't want to believe the CIA is as bad as I have claimed and tried to document but we have talked about it from time to time and no other conclusion remains after reviewing the organization's history.  There's everything you know and may cherish about America ... and then there's the CIA defiling every word of it.  The right wing agenda of the CIA is plain to see when you consider their history and the premise initially troubling to Cadillac Man was the right wing behavior persisted regardless of the persuasion of the current administration.

Russia didn't do anything to subvert the election beyond expressing opinions on an obvious clusterfuck whereas the CIA has been covertly undermining democracy through its entire history.  As Cadillac Man observed, Harry Truman regretted starting up the CIA because it rapidly transmogrified beyond the original purpose of intelligence gathering and became everything America opposes.

Trump's skepticism regarding the CIA is one of the healthiest things we have observed in Washington in many years.  That Trump has a Chamber of Horrors in his Cabinet is not currently important when none of them have actually done anything as yet.  We know they intend terrible things such as destroying MEDICARE but there's no coherent plan to do such a thing.  Frankly, we don't think they can do it and we seriously question the wisdom of continuing in the off chance they can.

The case study is abortion and the only activity has been Paul Ryan's confirmation he will always be small change since he announced plans to defund Planned Parenthood.  That doesn't do anything about removing abortion rights in America, it will only remove access by poor people.  Should Trump try to extend the position by making abortion illegal again, we will stay up late to watch that parade.

That won't do anything to ban abortion as it will only piss off the femmes.  After over fifty years of outrage on the matter, that won't go away any time soon so, go ahead, ban it ... just try.

We have little use for that kind of brinksmanship with regard to moral issues which never should have been legislated in the first place.  However, the consideration of statesmanship is of high value and that's precisely what we see with Trump and his engagement with Putin.

Putin has been a statesman throughout and he has consistently outplayed Obama at every turn.  We want a leader who can talk with Putin rather than simply dancing with him so we're appreciative of Trump's efforts to reduce tensions with Russia.
