More Science the Flat Earth Society Tells Us Isn't Happening

Regrettably, this continues with more science you probably don't want as this one confirms 2016 as the hottest yet.  (Science Daily:  2016 is set to break even the temperature records of 2015)

Global temperatures showing the change from pre-industrial times.  The global temperatures for January to September 2016 were approximately 1.2°C above pre-industrial levels and 0.88°C (1.58°F) above the average for the 1961-1990 reference period.

The Flat Earth Society loves to tell us don't worry; it's just an anomaly.  Listen to them if you like but a few words of advice:  buy a boat and sail North.

The F.E.S. crew loves to regale us about the history of segments of climate change in history but the purpose in doing that is to obfuscate the fact no other time of climate change had a significant human influence.  Their purpose isn't science but rather avoiding responsibility.

Let's consider humans as walking / talking one-hundred degree space heaters which are blowing out carbon dioxide through our entire lives.  Now multiple that by, say, ten billion or whatever the current population of the Earth.

Now we're reasonably sure whatever God may have planned for the Earth, he didn't anticipate, holy fuck, look at all the damn humans.  I know I told them to be fruitful and multiply but ... damn ... I didn't bargain on this.

See, there's yer problem:  too many humans.  Wipe out half of them and you'll be right as rain.  Not to worry since if you don't do it then Gaia will.  She has done it before as maybe you fondly recall bubonic plague.

This solves two problems for the Flat Earth Society.  They believe every life is sacred ... until they have to feed them.  This solution solves the problem of climate change and feeding impoverished humans in one stroke.  Perfect.

Ed:  the solution for climate change is bubonic plague?

Sure.  Just wipe out five billion people.  No problem.

Ed:  you seriously believe Republicans want this?

Um, what do you see them doing trying to prevent it, Dagwood.  They resent research on anything unless it makes weapons.  They do nothing about Zika until it comes to America and they don't even do that much now.
