NASA Brings Us Thanksgiving in Space

Yes, this is how they dress for dinner apparently.

We can see the anguish in their eyes since going to space didn't reveal to them any more than to us what people are supposed to do on Thanksgiving.

Ed:  they eat!

They ate yesterday!

Ed:  they matched the Macy's Parade!

Oh, sure.  That's living the dream, isn't it ... go to space and watch marching bands.  Can we have the dream which does not have marching bands?


That's the trouble with Thanksgiving, see.  No-one knows what you're supposed to do.

Ed:  so how was "Midway?"

It's remarkable how so much of one of the greatest naval battles in history was based on dumb luck.  It was an aircraft carrier battle, one of the most high-tech exemplifications of the period ... and yet it came down to dumb luck in spotting the Japanese fleet or they likely would have won.
