No Shows at the Circus Last Night

Neither Cat nor I could get to the Circus last night as I hadn't slept since the previous day and Cat was just about to receive the payback for some exceptionally warm weather during the week in Bavaria (i.e. thunderstorms are comin').

Joaquin Gustav was scheduled to play and he might have gone ahead with it anyway as he has authority to push the buttons he needs to get the show started by himself.  Hopefully that happened and you got to hear his set even though Cat and I could not be there.

Voodoo Shilton often plays on Friday but it can't be a regular thing because of a personal situation.  It's not appropriate for me to say anything about the nature of it as that would make it a public situation and that ain't how we do.  What I can tell you for sure is we love this cat and hope he will be back soon as he was sure smokin' last week.

Do keep an eye on the calendar as we saw Mario Zecca on Thursday and he's new but there are two others as well as we heard Option Y a few days before and hopefully I will hear Paris Cloyd soon.  Maybe you're thinking with a name like Paris Cloyd then he better be good but don't you worry about that as he's very damn good.  Paris Cloyd brings electric goodness of a speedish nature but that doesn't mean he plays like one of these bozos who tries to set a land speed record.

Mellifluous is an exceptionally beautiful word in sound and in concept.  Definitely get some of that, especially if you're electric.

If you don't know what mellifluous means, here's one word to explain it:  Santana

And here's a picture of it:

(Ed:  he plays so fast like he has a Star Trek warp drive)

Yah, yah, but always along a melody.
