You're Thinking All the Hate Muffins Are in Texas? Guess Again, Carpet-Baggin' Joe

Southern Poverty Law Center:  HATE MAP

They're packed so densely on the Eastern seaboard, they're practically standing on each other's shoulders.

Texas has fifty-five hate groups with headquarters here but Virginia and Maryland have that many by themselves.

California easily beats Texas since it has almost eighty hate groups.

Rhode Island is so small its NAZI sticker practically covers the state.

There is no defensiveness about Texas since any existence of these groups anywhere is an offense against humanity.  However, any thought the problem is confined to this part of the country is utter rubbish.

That is a cool map but only lists number of groups. Some groups may only have 5 members.
By percent of population look to Tenn Ala Miss. Missouri Indiana believe as top five by total members

I think TN had the win for landlocked states and maybe not such a huge surprise when the KKK started there but the East coast has the vestal virgins ... and a diverse range of every kind of hate muffin. I didn't expect that.

Silly rabbit
Hate is everywhere
If there were green people someone would hate them

Sure and that's a soft paraphrase of the way Redd Foxx said it. The map struck me because there's such an emphasis on the South as being the source of all racism and hatefulness of this nature while hate groups are stacked on top of each other around Washington / New York and also around L.A.

"If there were blue people some asshole would hate them" - Redd Foxx

One of my all-time favorites.

I did not want to use blue people as The Blue Group is one of my favorite interactive entertainment groups.
I knew Reed Foxx would still get credit.
Montana is probably top dog for hate groups.
My point is that it is as usual a very small percentage of the population. causing the most problems.
Gone are the days when the protesters against the hate groups just stood around the hate groups are made their presence known but did not interact.
Almost always taking the high ground.
The battles and destruction of statues are counterproductive to the cause.

From the frame of reference of black people, the statues are overt symbols of America's racism and they need a sign this time America isn't just lying again about ending it. They seem to be coming down more quickly after Charlottesville since no Mayor wants that coming to town.
