It Just Landed in the Backyard, Dad

Confusing people in Arizona doesn't exactly take a Rubik's Cube when a smart racist has never been born but there was reason for confusion when this landed.

This looks like one of the early space capsules from the Mercury program but what was it doing in space all this time and where was it?

Ed:  maybe it's VGR?

If you see Persis Khambatta, we're in big trouble.

Ed:  too obscure

Ela, ela!  She was famous for that movie!

In fact, that might have been the first human / robo love connection and long before Japanese microcomputer sex dolls.

Ed:  so who launched that space capsule?

Well, no-one launched it, chum.  It's art.  (RT:  Mysterious ‘space capsule’ baffles Arizona onlookers (PHOTOS))

Captain Jack Millard is joined by Sheriff Lee from the AZ Department of Public Safety after a detailed inspection of the space capsule in the desert.

Hat tip to Jack Millard on an impressive stunt and Banksy will have to come up with something a whole lot more interesting than spray paint after this one.
