Joe Biden / Hunter Biden and In-Your-Face Political Patronage

Joe Biden installed his son, Hunter Biden, as an attorney for the largest private natural gas company in Ukraine.  We're sure he has a glib explanation of how this is not political patronage but we have no time for second-raters who never accomplish anything beyond giving favors to themselves.

Hunter Biden's qualifications toward becoming an international executive are clear:

Thrown out of the Navy for cocaine abuse (WSJ)

He's a cheater slutbag with an account on Ashley Madison (Breitbart).  Naturally, Biden claims it is fake but it was created in the same place he works.

These types of low standards are precisely why there is such an era of political outrage in which it is not only common but anticipated they will do such things.

Political patronage is what Joe Biden was guilty of doing in using his influence to get the job for Hunter Biden.  This is the same thing which came from the era of the city bosses such as Boss Cox in Cincinnati (WIKI:  George B Cox) and this was in the style of Boss Tweed of New York City (WIKI: William M Tweed).  This kind of corruption is endemic in politics but the blatant arrogance of the installation of Hunter Biden.  Typically this is known as 'influence peddling' and they put you in jail for it ... if you're on the wrong political team.

(Ed:  this is not political bashing?)

Many potential candidates were interviewed by me for sensitive positions, high-paying jobs and anyone with a cocaine bust on the record would have been dismissed sight unseen.  There is no way I am going to depend on a coke monkey for anything.

(Ed:  too harsh?)

Really.  Tell me the last time you hired someone with a crack problem.

Anyone with such a record would never have reached my desk as such a candidate would never have made it through the screening by Human Resources.  That Hunter Biden got so high (cough) with such a record shows me someone convinced them not to look at it.

So, you want to call planting him in an international, high-paying job with that on his record anything but political patronage?  You will have to make one hell of a persuasive case given the evidence.
