Kensington TrackBallWorks Software Causes Problem with Safari under El Capitan

The problem to solve is the cursor is not placed correctly in Safari while writing Blogger articles nor does it work correctly in Facebook regarding the reply mechanism.

Update:  it's erratic.  This worked for a while and now does not.  Unpredictable.  What's definite is the TrackBallWorks software has not been updated for El Capitan and Kensington does not show it is supported.

Here's yer fast partial answer:  use the Kensington TrackBallWorks Uninstaller to remove the TrackBallWorks extension from your system and then boot.  The Mouse control panel was used to set the cursor speed and that applies the same to the Trackball so I have no immediate plan to re-install it.

Kensington:  Expert Mouse® Wired Trackball (product pitch but it has a review section which includes problem reports)

It appears Kensington will update the software mid-November but I don't care if the check is in the mail because I'm using the computer right now.  So ... it is uninstalled and the cursor speed isn't what TrackBallWorks can do but it's adequate.  TrackBallWorks permits the cursor to move faster but not so much more than the Mouse will permit so it's acceptable.

What is not acceptable is removing it fixed one problem but not the other.  The cursor placement in Facebook is mostly corrected, albeit with some cursor flickering.  The problem with cursor placement is not fixed in Blogger.  If I click elsewhere in the text edit window in Blogger in Safari, the cursor will not move.

Maybe remove Flash as that's everyone's favorite whipping boy, mostly because it's such a worthless piece of crap which constantly needs updates and does nothing of any particular value which cannot be done better another way.  Flash is the second-rate bastard child of Quicktime and they should not have let this one live.  Ah well, so kill it and report.
