The Renault Twizy brings a whole new world of weird to automobiles and who better to make it than Renault. Don't be laughing too hard as Renault has been extremely fast and competitive in Formula One. However, fast and competitive may not be quite the word for the Twizy.
The Twizy is lightweight and won't do more than 50 mph / 80 kph so in France it's legal to drive this vehicle when you're fourteen. It would be ridiculous to take one onto the Autoroute where the speed limit is 75 mph / 120 kph but it could be exceptionally cool for students. Maybe not so good for Scotland because the door doesn't seem to be more than the arm across the side to ensure you don't fall out so rain might be a bit of a problem.
