Tony Romo Delivers the Sports Quote of the Week

"I'll be back," Romo said to Erin Andrews after the game, via Mike Garafolo of Fox Sports. "It's going to take a little bit of time. It's a broken bone. It is what it is."  (CNN:  Tony Romo Injury: Updates on Cowboys Star's Clavicle and Return)

Some NFL quarterbacks hold fully-qualified doctorate degrees in advanced fields.  We can safely assume Tony Romo is not one of them.

The clavicle is yer collar bone and, depending on whether the halves are separated, he may be screwed.  There's no way to put a cast on the bone so that means they may pin it but I never heard of that being done before.  It wasn't even suggested with mine and one half of the bone is stuck to the side of the other half.

If they pin it, he's probably down for a couple of months.

He will recover but the Dallas Cowboys won't unless they move to North Dakota because ever since George Bush no-one in Texas can ever win anything ever again, it's the law.

(Ed:  why North Dakota?)

Most Americans don't even know how to find North Dakota much less what ever happens there.  They might discover North Dakota is host to Bismarck's, the largest pygmy cathouse in the world.

(Ed:  make up your mind is it large or is it pygmy?)

It's large and has lots of pygmy hookers.

(Ed:  what's a pygmy hooker?)

Any which aren't American

Maestro, rim shot, please.
