DigiTech Vocalist Live FX Vocal Effects Processor - Stalking Continues

Musician's Friend has been a reliable place to do online business and they've got the DigiTech Vocalist Live FX Vocal Effects Processor for $199 US.

That's all fine and people like the box but to find out what it really does I want to see the Vocalist Live FX Owner's Manual.

The quick summation is the box is loaded.  DeEsser to Looper to Pitch Shifter, etc, etc.  The range in capability is impressive and, sometimes even more important, it appears relatively-easy to manage with a strong purpose toward 'live' (as opposed to 'tricky').

If this can happen, it will be next Wednesday.  On balance is a third static camera and months before there will be another opportunity.  The review so far is the Live FX gives more value as there is near zero chance of singing anything without it.  The gadget will not make me a nightingale but it will add 'presence' and that's a big deal relative to the 'fatness' in sound for anything else here.  (The bass needs more beef but that's a different problem)

Plus Cat is approving of this idea and that's not the case for lights and cameras as these things do not make music, what good are they.  This is an ongoing discussion and you're welcome to play as the topic is the integration of music and light.  My primary piece of evidence regarding the importance of the integration is in Genesis with "Supper's Ready" but that's not the same type of integration I want in what I do.

As to doddering about like I'm ninety, the 'suffer, bitch' approach did work and playing the guitar was effective in working things out with my back.  That took a few days and Tobey the Dog can probably still knock me over but he'll at least need a running start now.
