Cops Watching Cops in Boston

People in the U.S. are furious about cops and all their tracking.  Cops in Boston are now even more furious as cops are tracking them too.  It's now a requirement that all Boston police cars must have active GPS tracking units in them so the people at the police headquarters know where they are.  (RT: Boston cops grumpy over GPS trackers on cruisers)

It doesn't seem there should be such a big surprise in this tracking.  Likely there will be GPS trackers in every car before too much longer.  Maybe the ultra-paranoid will tell you they're already there.  Even without the surprise, it amuses me that cops are annoyed about it.  Cops are the first ones to defend the cameras and the illegal surveillance so I find it quite funny to see their reaction when it's turned around on them.  No more visits to Betty Boop during the shift.
