Melissa Bachman is a trophy hunter who seemingly enjoys nothing quite so much as killing things. It has nothing to do with survival, she just likes it.
It's not even clear how many wolves they killed but it looks like about seven. Look at the sight on the weapon. You could shoot from so far away that you would be in another country. How brave.
This will look so cool in my den. Or maybe I'll just leave it here and go to kill another one.
This is the one that made her famous. Nothing gets a bigger Pepsodent smile than finding a really beautiful animal and then killing it for no reason whatsoever. Again the weapon has a very powerful sight on it for shooting the animal from twelve miles or so.

Think whatever you like of what Facebook Likes are worth but it's clear that there are tens of thousands of people who are revolted by this horrible woman and her trophy killing. This has NOTHING to do with hunting. As has been mentioned in comments, deer culls prevent the starvation that would otherwise control natural populations of deer and the animals shot are typically served up for dinner. This is a vastly different thing from what Melissa Bachmann is doing.
