Trump Makes a Positive Move Toward Putin

Donald Trump isn't even worth his weight in rotting road kill for any other reason except his choice wife but he did say specifically he would improve relations with Russia and it appears he has started.  (RT:  Putin & Trump discuss Syria and US-Russia relations in phone call – Kremlin)

This is the specific reason I did not vote for Clinton since I saw it as better to take the chance Trump was not lying about normalizing relations with Russia while there was no chance of Clinton doing anything positive in that regard.  He surprises me in the fact he was not lying since I've heard nothing but lies for decades and the last honest one was Jimmy Carter who, not surprisingly, Republicans revile.

As noted earlier, Trump is also making strong progress on destructive things.  This is why I did not vote for Trump since he's got, other than with Putin / NATO, no original ideas beyond the stereotypical destructiveness of that crew.  (Ithaka:  President-Elect Trump: Last Week Tonight with John Oliver)

Note:  the video mostly just shows petulance but there is additional commentary in the article.

The question is the balance because the Rockhouse belief is no matter how much Trump fucks up domestic policy which he inevitably will and he's already started, there will be statues built for him if he manages to turn around the confrontational aspect of diplomacy the neoliberals (i.e. Republicans in Democrat clothing) have been bringing.

He hasn't even shot any school kids yet and Nixon got away with that to receive great Republican love.  Trump really could come off looking like a hero no matter how much he shits the bed domestically.  That's kind of the best part because it will absolutely bust Clinton's ass.

HRC:  they raised a statue for that motherfucker!!!  In Times fucking Square!!!  Goddamn him!!!!

Oh for the video.

Since America has been a long-running disaster movie at least since George Bush's ill-advised adventurism, that made today's movie selection "The Day After Tomorrow" which was another in the Worst of Sci Fi series but "World War Z" is safe in its ownership of the title for Worst Sci Fi Ever.

Much like Republicans, there was no particular science behind the movie's view of climate change but some of it was cool to watch.  Republicans have substituted arrogance and empty hearts for science but, fortunately, they don't make movies; as far as we can tell, they never make anything.

We see some prime time arrogance and empty-heartedeness in Trump's rejection of the latest climate change accords and saying anything just invites whining from hecklers but the fact remains his science is uninformed while the facts are easily observable.  His climate change approach is much the same as the Birther charges he was making against Obama a few years back (i.e. groundless bullshit).

"The Day After Tomorrow" isn't the consequence of Trump's contemptuous direction as all evidence shows it will just keep getting hotter but, you know, fuck the children, right.  Trump already said he wouldn't mind in what may have been the all-time creepiest statement from the new King of Elektra.

Note:  an Oedipus complex is the opposite of the Elektra complex as the latter is when Buffy falls in love with Biffy, her daddy.

Ed:  Greeks were sick fucks!

Oh sure, they were sicker than what we see now.  Sure they were.

There was a brief talk with Cadillac Man but you know the future, right?

Ed:  it doesn't work and the cellphone cut off?

Roger that.

He doesn't seem to find the comedy in the election that I take from it and even more so when others get yet more pissed off because I'm not pissed off.

Neoliberals:  oh God, you're making me so depressed!

Tip:  like I give a fuck.  What makes it even funnier is they think I should give a fuck.  You wanted the Killer Queen and now you want a Kleenex?  Get the fuck out.

Second installment of the C.M. Dialog later since he wants to talk about Mexico and that could be tres interesting.

Ed:  muy interesting.

Si.
