If not for socialism, the military would be playing with toy boats in a duck pond.
Meanwhile, credit card debt in the U.S. is over a trillion dollars now and higher than it has ever been. Some GOP fop said this was because more people got jobs but that cheap statistic means nothing when the biggest employers today are Walmart and other shit service jobs of that nature. Any job at Walmart gets instructions on job performance and also directions on where to get food stamps. They're nothing more than food stamp shitholes the Waltons created.
Auto loans are also failing at a startling rate and we hear again a term we haven't heard since 2008: sub-prime loans. Apparently the banks never stopped doing this crooked crap and now high numbers of people are defaulting on car loans, particularly low income people.
Yah, people have got more jobs but they weren't very good ones and they're not enough to get the bills paid. GOP says it's not their responsibility but they don't take responsibility for anything and it amuses the living hell out of me to hear of personal accountability since there's no organization on the planet more defiant of law and taken less to task for it. Even the Mafia was finally prosecuted but it doesn't matter what crimes the GOP commits. There's no-one in the GOP with the morality of a horsefly.

Hillary Clinton said bank controls were effective to solve the problems with abuses from 2008 but that sick bitch is likely to be crushed by Trump anyway now. I sure won't do anything about it. Her path leads to wanton killing and so does Donald Trump and I will have none of it because both cause nothing but more disgrace and failure for the country.
In my view, the country just signed its own death warrant but it's been doing that with great enthusiasm for years. TPP and further job destruction are inevitable and America will descend further into its new version of slavery which continues the mediocrity it has come to love so much more than peace and freedom.
For Bernie Sanders, I want to see a third political party even knowing it will likely lose because it has two advantages: it keeps the Clintons out of the White House and sends a clear statement of the numbers who won't stand for the corruption anymore. It's not bad enough the corruption exists but we're insulted relentlessly by the perpetrators in their blind arrogance because they feel they have to serve their billionaire masters who did SO many favors for them and the rest of us.
This leads back to sell the kit and bail. Burn the US passport because I will croak somewhere but it damn sure won't be here. Then I leave on the UK passport and they can kiss my ass as I fly away. Nothing is worth further toleration of the depredations of this spiritually-vacant and morally-corrupt country.

The tremendous debt load is not a result of big banks. It is a result of people wanting more than they can afford.
Most car loans are done by the car companies. And of course low income buyers are the ones defaulting They couldnt afford the car in the first place but could not control thier impulse.
The credit card issues result from both parties passing the laws allowing ridiculous interest rates some make loansharks look tame. I have seen employees with car loans at 25% and payday loans over 500% That is obscene.
When I was in debt to the tune of 200% of my annual income. That was my fault because I bought items I could not afford. Thst took a lot of beans and rice to get out from underneath. And raising my income level by working any legal job that paid me money.
I didnt blame some politician or bank. I just fixed it and made sure it never happened again
The banks aren't standing idly by since you can't run up big debt without some helpful banker permitting it. Obviously people are irresponsible but willingly catering to that just feeds smack to junkies. Credit card banker thinking has been let them jack the debt so high because they have huge interest and they do just fine so long as you at least keep making the interest payment; with such high interest they just write-off the ones which will predictably crap out and never sweat it. Until the debt load hits some gigantic level and then point fingers at the dumb asses who blew all that jingle. That doesn't mean the bankers are the sole fault but they're damn sure not innocent. This is a takes two to tango game and finger pointing only means it will never stop.
The Socialist Left doesn't want bullshit legislation any more than the right but this system is jacked and maybe you have seen how the GOP is strongly opposing regulation of vendors of payday loans which you noted above are obscene. Y'all seriously need to work out yer platform because it looks to be full of splinters.
When any honor system doesn't work, what else is left and it's not rhetorical as legislation works to a point and in the absence of any better alternative it's necessary.
Also the killing of which you speak is worldwide. And ISIS and Boku Harum are just as likely to kill other muslims as christians or hindu or just about anyone that gets in thier way. It is not a religious jihad but an old fashioned power grab.
So bailing is just moving from one fire to another. The refugees run from one country to another governments pretend to help but the run of the mill people dont want the trouble of helping. Germany needs them as a cheap entry level workforce but Merkel may not last long enough to make it work. America complains about the South America invasion but as with all mass immigrations. My view, as with Sanders, is America exacerbates the problem and it should be left to the locals to do whatever they will. Same old kick back to Gandhi: better to be governed by our own bad government than a benevolent foreign government (paraphrase but close).
That doesn't throw morality out the window as observation of genocide, gross violations of the rules of war, may require intervention. We observe America's response to genocide has been highly variable so morality is apparently in flux.
We have seen what happens when we topple shit leaders: they get worse ones. The strongmen may look like shit leaders but no-one else can keep those yahoos in line and they resent it if anyone else tries, same deal as a cop going to deal with domestic violence. Dangerous as hell for the cop as then the combatant spouses turn it all on the cop.
I offer Iraq as the instance of domestic violence and the whole planet ended up hating the cop for stirring it. (A bit hyperbolic but not that much)
I'm adamant on this one as I strongly believe the only way to stop the killing is if America takes the lead in walking away from it. Destroy your world if you want to do it, kids, but know you murder your children when you steal their past. We wash our hands of your savagery. Fifteen years has shown you can't legislate it or shoot it out of existence.
Sure it's a power grab and that's the perennial game in the Middle East for millennia. Even if ISIS makes its caliphate and buys weapons as fast as they can be delivered, it will take one hell of a time to get anywhere near the strength of Iran or Saudi Arabia. You want ISIS wiped out ... so let them do it. They easily have the strength for it.
Damn shame about Merkel and the failure was in getting the message to people that Germany needs these people. Unemployed people, particularly in East Germany where the problem is worse, had the thinking, 'screw the refugees. I do not have a job so why should they.'
There is still substantial East / West tension in Germany because the mindset from the people from the Communist life is really mixed-up with the classic: I pretend to work for Russia and Russia pretends to pay me. The pay wasn't much but it was regular. That kind of job does not exist so many are still lost in space, easy for PEGIDA to recruit.
There was never a strong enough answer even though it's a fair response they're needed for the future workforce and we need to get them started now. They like to say things 'resonate' and that did not. It's true and still it goes flat.
