Lotta Lotta Anger Out There

Y'all are bubbling with it but yer anger is a questionable luxury of the means to believe you may actually change something and the anger is presumably the thinking you won't.

There is quite likely nothing so pointless as anger from my position.  I can rage until the remainder of my teeth rattle to the floor but it won't make the faintest difference to anything.  There is no inherent rage in that because it would be just as pointless as any other kind of raging.

What I can do is promote Bernie Sanders who clearly faces heavy opposition from a firmly-entrenched Establishment willing to use any means whatsoever to defeat him.  So it goes and, as with anything else, the only thing which defeats any entrenched thing is information which is unlikely to persuade the Establishment of much but may well enlighten others who had not considered such things and therein lies the Resistance.

You can see it in Millennials who have rejected just about anything to do with the status quo and that's not surprising for rebellious young 'uns but it seems plain to see there hasn't been a racket like this since the start of the Punk days, forty years ago.  The Millennials don't seem so drawn to punk nihilism but rather something of their own invention.

They have abandoned the Establishment, religion, and some of the most central aspects of the modern society while remaining strangely enamored of the technology with their cellphones and social networks, etc.

Young anger is different because it's much more non-specific.  They know the situation is screwed and many of them still aren't really sure why, possibly because of so much dependence on social networks and that egregiously distorted view of reality.  There is also a large contingent who are firmly fixed on who did it and Sanders is their pick to resolve it.

Most of the GOP anger probably sits on getting it their way heavily for the last thirty years and expecting to get more of the same.  They talk glowingly of what Reaganomics did but at the same time decry and assail the state of the country and the economy so it's like they're trying to sing an opera and a square dance at the same time.

How about we go with Pavarotti ...

Alaman left
then hold her tight
Alaman right
and say good night

Note:  alaman is the square dance way of allemande from classical dance
