There was no intention to say anything as this is the forty-fifth school shooting this year so why say a word. But then I sent out a volley of Tweets on the matter so maybe it affects me a bit more than I say.
School shootings are not a horror in America but a habit.
The obvious is the bloodbath which elicits the horror. Then there's the inevitable heartlessness of the conservative approach, exemplified this time by Jeb 'Big Boy' Bush who said, simply, "Stuff happens."
What better than to have someone with such vision in control of the destiny of the most powerful country in the world. What better than to have a coward who sacrifices children to his political ambition, along with all the others who have been shot in schools this year.
Man, this is one damn freakshow. I don't want to write this crap. They should either fix it or shut the fuck up as one thing I definitely do not want to hear is a bunch of whiny motherfuckers with guns talking about their thoughts and prayers. Like anyone needs those for anything. Look what good it does those kids.
There's a much better inspiration for a story and that one comes from a surprise source. It involves the Bengals, the Super Bowl, and a whole lot of cocaine. It wasn't so much we would have gone to jail for a long time, not a really long time, at least. It's not about the coke either since drug stories aren't usually by themselves all that interesting.

I remember freezing my ass off waiting to go inside the Silverdome. Since the tickets came from members of the College Inn crowd cocaine was included in whatvever followed
