Rammstein doesn't seem to be quivering over Japanese visual kei but they rock just as hard. If you think it's unusual to compare Japanese and German rock bands, maybe you haven't heard X Japan. These bands have all the electric you would ever want and Rammstein is the biggest rock band in Germany.
For a general classification, go with scream rock although this, to my ear, sounds more masculine than a lot of it.
The song comes from their latest album "In Amerika" and there's nothing NAZI in putting a 'k' in the word because that's how America is spelled in German.
The singer uses one of the most unusual vocal effects I've ever seen (yes, seen) and you can see the wire to his mouth to make it work. This guy is nuts, for sure.
