Whether you see it as standing for a cause or Thomas Jefferson exhorting us to stand up to a domineering state, it comes out the same: unity is strength and through strength comes freedom.
Nothing comes from fear except more oppression and more fear. That applies to us all because 'fear is the mindkiller' for anyone.
