Each of the darker areas are thought to be evidence of additional explosions after the original supernova ... or something which only makes sense to physicists.

We're really not sure what this galaxy may be doing although it does appear to be eating something.
Unknown what they did to this galaxy but it looks like it really enjoyed it.
And one more star of something, we just don't know what ... but she should be.
