"Inna Gadda Da Vida" - Iron Butterfly (video 1968)

Sure we're going to the historical files and for Iron Butterfly we see it as important as much later they were being mocked and I don't understand what motivated it because they were massive at the time and here's why.




The joke in "Inna Gadda Da Vida" was because that is how one of the kids of one of the band members pronounced "In the Garden of Eden."  That was so cute to these hard-ass, drugged-out rock guys that they used it for the song title and the album title.  No-one had any idea of that at the time as what I remember is, man, you've got to hear this drum solo.
