A Note of Concern from Facebook

After a couple of days of silence, someone on Facebook actually asked how the Silas is doing.  I was kind of touched as there is almost zero belief in the Rockhouse much of anyone gives a rat's ass about what happens inside it.

There are others on Facebook who see the blog via other mechanisms such as Twitter or Google+ so they know the situation is just more Facebook Fuckwittery.   They don't comment here because either the content is just steamy crap or ... perhaps there's thinking more people see comments on Facebook.  The latter is specifically not true as, even with Facebook entirely blocked by the Facebook Fuckwits That Be, the blog pulls more than five hundred hits a day; the content gets more reads here in a day than it will get in a month on my Wall in Facebook.

Most of you don't use Facebook and steadfastly reject it which I wholeheartedly support because getting out of Facebook is one hell of a lot more difficult than waltzing into it, largely due to the pseudo-emotional entanglements which are of little to no consequence in our lives.  As you see, most of the entanglements are not real since hardly anyone even noticed the (cough) evacuation.

If someone could post a comment to Facebook and tag me with it, the result could eliminate any confusion.  Nothing more than a simple thing is needed as Silas has real drama and doesn't have interest in pissing around with online melodrama:

SILAS NICKED BY NIPPLISH NEMATODE

Reason:

a)  Silas was publicly busting and throwing out plastic Christians who preached at him (yah, yah, that persecutes them, don'tcha know)

b)  Silas said transgender without the suitable online tones of samaritraphobic reverence

c)  Silas is an asshole

d)  All of the above

I tend to comment on fb instead of here for several reasons.
1. I don't have to wait for it to be published.
2. There are no size limits to the comment.
3. There is no such thing as an anonymous post. (Those really do annoy me.)
4. Email notification is automatic. I never remember to check the box here.
5. Commenting via a phone is easier than on the blog, and if it quirk, it's the only means possible.

The blog (and blogs in general) is highly Old School and doesn't have the snap, snap speed of online. That aspect is more a matter of personal taste as the 'chattish' nature of online can be engaging but also massively time-consuming. That's a mixed benefit because I couldn't even sit all the way through "Sceptre," which I found a highly-engaging Bond film.

I'm not sure if there's a means for making the blog more approachable by phones but I have previewed some layouts for them and found them wanting because the sidebar evaporates. For my taste, that's a huge loss of function so I don't see a good answer at this time.
