The Dixie Chicks are the walking, talking, fantastically singing, musical embodiments of Texas bad ass.
These girls started out singing on street corners, went to the top, were hassled mercilessly by every shit-for-brains, drugstore cowboy-hat-wearin', no balls cowboy in the country, and they rose over the death threats plus every other cowardly thing hurled at them. Yah, they're bad ass and they're on-tour again.

Can't even believe the audience will let them go home until they sing this song again even when they have so many other incredible songs.
It's an obvious statement here of support for Bernie Sanders but the difference is we are ready to make nice but we're not ready to make bad deals and we won't. Neither did the Dixie Chicks and we respect them endlessly for it.
