Yesterday it was occurring to me the military has turned a large part of its operations to sniping, either in airborne assaults which meet no resistance or in drone bombs which come out of nowhere.
Noam Chomsky's take on "American Sniper" isn't a great surprise but it's interesting how he reviews reactions to it and his conclusion is more extreme than the one I reached yesterday but the logic for it is clear and I have no reason to extend from it. Applying this to the current political theater shouldn't be a huge stretch.
