Last Week Tonight with John Oliver: Journalism

Maybe you anticipate he slashes journos but his focus is on the ones who made journos this way.

The blast is primarily owned by CNN and Fox News as neither ever had printed forms and most of what either of them does is rubbish, in large part because they keep it broadcasting twenty-four hours a day, regardless of whether there is any real content.  CNN, surprisingly, is the worst as there's almost never any news content anymore.  That decline is a national tragedy for the people.  Fox News gives up a surprise once in a while but both are owned right down to the spark plugs by corporate interests and a great deal of their content isn't true.

John Oliver reviews how one printed newspaper after the other has destroyed itself with its digital representation in which once noble institutions become cheap hustlers of what's happening with Pokemon Go.

Tip:  it's none of your business.  If kids wanted you to know then they would tell you.  Either way, it's not even close to news.

Take a bow, Roger Ailes:  Former Fox boss Roger Ailes spent millions on ‘Black Room’ op to smear journalists.  The article implied he only smeared journos but you know he took it far beyond that and you have seen it for yourself.
