Germany Burns Erdogan and Turkey, NATO's Biggest Security Problems

Germany recently announced governmental recognition of genocide in Armenia committed by Turkey.  Not surprisingly, Erdogan is weeping like a Campfire Girl and screaming of the injustice.  Meanwhile, Turkish press expresses the outrage with pictures of Merkel wearing a Hitler mustache.  (RT:  ‘Stab in the back’: Turkey responds fiercely to Germany’s ‘disgraceful’ Armenia genocide vote)

This was political genius from Germany since the actual content of the legislation in Germany was for recognition of Germany's failing in supporting the genocide in Turkey.  Germany's acceptance of darkness of this nature in the country's history, they believe and to all observation shows, it makes the country better able to deal with such matters.  As one aspect of that, we observe Germany's fierce support of free speech.  (WIKI:  Armenian Genocide)

Should Turkey ever get to the actual content of the German legislation, their complaint will have to be Germany is confessing to something which never happened.  That makes no sense since why should any country ever do that.

(Ed: as to German free speech, what about Merkel giving up the satirist recently who mocked Erdogan?)

That was Merkel doing her best imitation of American Democrats in throwing a human sacrifice to appease the conservatives.  That never works and it  didn't appease anyone except Erdogan so that move could not have backfired with any greater dramatic effect.

So we can kick back contentedly to consider Erdogan flaming while he paces back and forth in his dark chambers, interrupting his rant about Germany only long enough to give approval to execution orders for Kurds periodically.
