The Debate with Kannafoot was a surprise to both of us in willingness to reason without shouting, name-calling, nor useless side-tracks into personal buffoonery. Neither of us is trying to prove anything but rather to inquire and question Every Damn Thing.
As to useless buffoonery, we are not sure if it is correct to say the Daughters of the American Revolution were managing the Presidential debates prior to them being consumed by commercial networks but we have a righteous anger on the matter and this anger we can contain because there is not a risk of going to extremes. However, we are sure the previous method of managing the debates was without commercial interruption or specious philosophy ... unless that specious commentary came from one or more of the candidates.
We do not care what pundits think unless we deliberately seek to read editorials rather than having them thrust in our faces by blatantly commercial operations. Pundits insult me and waste my time because my thinking is my own. We demand truth and information and not specious philosophy.
Thankfully, I really don't remember what any of the commercials in this debate said as I was using that time either to repair the blog or go to the toilet, both of which are of vastly more significance to me than some bimbo trying to sell margarine.

Here at the Rockhouse, we are not exactly Goldwater Republicans ... erm ... we are not even close to it. However, we seek points of commonality in which there is the possibility to move forward rather than remain trapped in the endless quagmire of political gamesmanship.
