Two hours on and two hours off reduces everything to just waiting. Interest in continuing this has plummeted. The only consideration in one seriously-miserable time is finding what makes light and one thing we know for sure is social networks don't. I really do try to find good stuff on Facebook to post there but there's so precious little of it with most of it sounding like barely-trained seals.
There was a generic plea earlier from one of the few with any wisdom there and it was people should stop amplifying the hatred but that's difficult on Facebook when little else is represented. There's an aggressively hateful vibe in the air from people who pretend they're not hateful but deify Clinton anyway.
Just today, Barack "Suck My Nukes" Obama authorized a new model of the B-61, America's biggest nuke for aircraft. And you say I'm hateful?
Thanks but I'll pass.
There's tremendous light in Ziggy Marley and there were speakers mounted to an exterior wall above the pool so he would be belting out his music while we were swimming on a hot Summer day. More accurately, we were floating as pools like that make you sooooo lazy but it feels soooooo good.
He sings about the lights going out but you see what remains.
I caught a whole lot more rays than I should have done and I'm paying for it now but that was some grand time.
Reggae brings more light than anywhere for me and has done for many years. There's a whole lot of it coming from a friend in Mozambique and he's living it with his band. He seems to do quite well by it and love abounds in everything he posts.
That light is the optimism and even more so when there is so little of it elsewhere.
