Veteran Jammers of Second Life from 2006 at Slimmie's Place

These pics give a Who's Who of Second Life music from somewhere in 2006.  This is so far back I even see Telia in the first one.  She wasn't a musician but she did damn good explosions so she was sure a performer.  Whenever I played, she would get that place blowed-up real good.  I even had a script which would make my stage explode and disappear.  At the same time, Silas teleported out and, man, it must be magic!

This is ten years on so I'm really not sure of all the names and, in my view, it would be insulting to name only a few of them.  These were the best at that time and you may wonder how I hustled my way into that but I have no clear answer (larfs).

Silas is somewhere around wearing fringed leathers but I don't see him yet.

This one definitely has Silas as he's the Blondie Boy in the front and Telia is the Blondie Girl in front of him and, yes, I used chick hair all the time.

One more to close it and these are all I have from the situation.  Slimmie is the one who told me on MacJams, you've got to try this and I was resistant because the image was one of a bunch of cartoons groping each other.  Sure enough, people do that but dismissing all of Second Life as a cheesy sex pit isn't even close to the reality.

Just in case of any doubt, yes, I'm deeply-appreciative of the tip from Slimmie as this is what happened when I finally listened to her and it changed my life.  That's not some hyperbolic flim flam, it really did and in huge ways.  Life is always capable of change but only if you let it.

so true. I think being single minded is good but I have also found that the wall around me was too much and so when I actually listened to the advice or whatever,it gave me new perspectives 🌈⚡⛅🌱

Cat and I were talking of this just now in terms of only discipline achieves excellence and that was the single biggest lesson from Robert Fripp. Whether der Musiker has more of this than others is subjective but the truth, I believe is the same for anyone who will really achieve.

Part of that discipline is knowing when to receive advice and when not. That one is a flaming bitch to discern!
