This was such a Brit thing to do ... read on.
Hundreds of yellow cars flooded a picturesque Cotswold village today to support an OAP whose canary motor was vandalised by locals.
Peter Maddox, 84, had to scrap his bright yellow car after vandals scrawled "move" on the bonnet and smashed in his windows causing £6,000 worth of damage in February.
The widower had already been slammed by locals, who said his vehicle was an "eyesore" on the rural idyll of Bilbury, Gloucestershire.
After hearing about his plight hundreds of sympathisers in yellow cars descended on the village for a rally in support of Mr Maddox.

I guess those punks will now know better than to bully that old duffer or the yellow cars will come again, hundreds of them.
Unknown if Americans would do this but they might. Brits, however, can't resist something like this.
Melthorpe: will you be participating, Cedric? It's futile, nearly pointless, and it involves hundreds of yellow cars but some old duffer will get a smile.
Cedric: That sounds splendid. Tallyho. The fox is loose.
Melthorpe: the fox is loose?
Cedric: I got carried away, old chap.
