The Arkansas Kennedys and the End of American Royalty

Even under threat of an eternity in Hell, no Republican would ever have voted for one of the real Kennedys but they do it with high aplomb for the Wal-Mart Kennedys from Arkansas.  They do it because of Obama's deplorable record of killing in the Middle East and Clinton's promises of more of it so they fall right in line.

The Kennedys brought grace neither the Bush nor Clinton families ever approached and the Kennedys were also masters of sleazier lifestyles than an amateur like Clinton could devise.  Nevertheless, they were graceful about almost everything whereas the Clintons aren't graceful about much of anything.  The I'm rich and fuck you for how I got it position might not have been their best choice for domestic relations.  Their endlessly grasping ways are more the manner of people on the Home Shopping Network than any Presidential trail and certainly any royal court.

There's no dynasty coming from the Clintons since we've seen already what Chelsea Clinton can do and it's never been much.  Slick Willie taught her well since she was influence peddling with her first gig with NBC and she never did anything after that until she connected with the Clinton Foundation gravy train.  She has no future in politics since it's not likely she will ever work a day in her life.

There's a long-standing mystery with why even Republicans support Republicans since most of them aren't rich so what comes from supporting the ultra-rich people who keep everyone in this state.  I'm assuming the failure of Reaganomics is self-evident at this point and sending the jobs overseas might not have been America's best idea.

Yevette and I were talking a moment ago about how Slick Willie snaked us since he was soooo smooth in pouring on the pre-election juice and we believed he was different but then he turned up NAFTA and, what do you know, he was another Reaganoid.  That confused the Republicans as well since here were the so-called Democrats working their dance card and Willie had such unctuous charm about it.  The irony is Clinton and Reagan were actors but Clinton was a better one although not so good for America.

There was talk of Camelot long ago but you won't be hearing about another one any time soon.  Don't read that as some Pollyanna fantasy of life would be any different if Kennedy had lived since we can't possibly know it.  A Democrat (Johnson) sold out Vietnam so there's not a solid reason to believe Kennedy would not have done that too.

In the Silas scorings, there are only two major players from each team in the last century, FDR and Eisenhower.  Both had substantial inadequacies but, dayum, did they deliver.  Since those two, there's been a lot of warring and a whole lot of killing but almost zero delivery.  Once in a while they kind of fix the roads.  Yahoo.
