Obama's Failure in Leadership

The problem isn't that Obama has failed in leadership but rather that he didn't.  He got the Affordable Care Act he wanted and now Republicans and the splinter groups within that shabby organisation are pissed off because they can't repeal it.  They have tried forty-one times previously and have failed on every one of them.  If there's a failure in leadership in Washington, it seems pretty clear to me that the failure is in the Republican Party.

What happened is that Mark Meadows, a freshman Republican with only eight months experience, is trying to make himself a juke box hero by tacking approval of the Affordable Care Act onto the budget approval.  Boehner didn't want to do it as he forecast, accurately, that it would backfire on the Republican Party.  Meadows is a Tea Party Republican and they're good at grandstanding but very little else.  Yesterday Bachmann went to a military memorial to make a big deal of opening it so veterans could tour it.  Of course she disappeared as soon as the cameras went away.  Fucking slut.

There's no need for an extended rant as you have heard all this before and it's as sexy as, well, Bachmann (snore).

Don't misread this to think I support much of what Obama does as his military policies are as bad or worse than those of George Bush.  He hasn't done anything to rope back the NSA and he led the pack in crushing OWS, blah, blah, blah.
