VA Just Canceled My Appt for Today - Updated

I've been coughing up blood for a month so all that's left to say now is I love you too, America.

Whoops, no, I don't.

And the GOP wants to privatize the VA to make things even worse.  For those bloodthirsty, self-adoring bastards, I only have revulsion in their contempt for the people they took into the military and then abandoned.

Note:  I was dragged into the military via the draft.

There was at least a time when I had some respect for Washington but the Republicans even stole that.

Update:  the phone is now charged and the cause of the cancelation is known.  My doctor got sick.  That amplifies all the more the true nature of the problem:  insufficient resources at VA due to neglect by the state.

Yevette was furious but I kept telling her, it's not the VA.  You know they do the best they can but that's inevitably going to be reduced to the extent Washington fails to support the organization.  You've got to stay cool or you will just stroke out.  That's when I told her, the best place to be when you're sad is your grandma's lap and, with real people, sometimes it only takes a smile.  (Ithaka:  Sometimes It Only Takes a Smile)

Since we don't really give a fuck about politics and just wish that whole incestuous nightmare would go back into its Port-A-Potty sewer, how about some puppies.

Meet Molly and Maxwell, two furballs of unlimited delight and almost unlimited lack of discipline.  If you're trying to grow tomatoes, don't let them anywhere close.  They will eat them.

(Ed:  dogs don't eat tomatoes!)

Oh, really?  You better talk to the Mystery Lady on that one.  Unknown if she ever had any success with her tomatoes after these rascals came sniffing around.

They were also inveterate beggars as they would dance like they're at the local disco if they thought there was any chance of cadging a treat out of it.

If you look in the background, you may notice Maggie since she was always the lady who held herself in reserve.

They're gone but not forgotten, the Three Musketeers of Dogdom.  They're probably trying to cadge some treats in Dog Heaven about this time.

I continued to grow "Sweet 100's just for their delight--little dog bite sized too! I have not grown my own for a few years but they are readily available in most grocery stores and I get them for my little Joy.

Well, no, I wouldn't call that spoiled! (larfs)

I can't do it to that level but Toby the Dog eats more regularly than I because either he's fed by about nine a.m. for Critter Guilt sets into it and no-one likes Critter Guilt.

Here here! I don't eat as well...sometimes not at all, but there's always good chow for Joy--and she sees the vet, where I dont see the doc...

Critter Guilt is a terrible thing (larfs)!

There were fire ants around Toby's bowl this morning and I was pissed. HEY, you don't get his food and it'll be war if you bite him. I was dribbling water here and there to dry to drown those little biters. I might be getting a little bit crazy about this ... but see above about Critter Guilt!
