A pilot landing at Oklahoma City advised the tower his forward landing gear had failed to deploy. In that situation, he has to land the aircraft and let it slowly settle to the front end without tipping the aircraft into cartwheels. In this case, the landing was as masterful as Captain Sully could ever want and the aircraft didn't even deviate that much from the center line of the runway.
Tell me he doesn't pull a Captain Sully Prize for coolest of the cool.
No need for an editorial on this one as I'm sure you can go ooh ah just as well as I.
Ooh ah, Cap'n. That was grand.
Check out the sissy write-up since the author mostly focuses toward, oh Lord, I would have been so scared. Of course you would, ya lil monkey, but that's when you grow a pair or become (cough) an ex-pilot. (RT: Watch heart-stopping moment pilot forced into nose-down landing (VIDEO))
