Kasich Just Hit the Skids as Well - Old School Politics Deceased

Jeb Bush was the first one down the toilet and he was the most Old School of the lot.  It was clear from the start they were bringing the same old dog to a brand-new race but none of them ever got it.

Donald Trump is a rolling cannonball which leaves an imprint of his name everywhere it rolls ... but it keeps changing direction.

There is growing noise on the #DropOutHillary thread as people get more and more fed-up with her.  She's got some die-hard weapons sluts behind her but my experience is they're mealy-mouthed and inconsequential (i.e. lots of words but little content, most likely teachers but not good ones).

It's a remarkable morning as it's objective evidence showing the breakdown and, wowzer, now what.  Kannafoot said it's been a painful morning and I dunno if anyone out there feels pain from it but there's got to be confusion.

CNN continues to damn Bernie Sanders with faint praise, making painfully obvious their corruption.  Instead they offer a big splash about Trump and then a secondary lead about how Clinton can defeat him (i.e. fantasy as she's as much Old School as Jeb Bush).  Finally it gets to mentioning Sanders so, erm, thanks for noticing he won the fucking day yesterday.  Enjoy the holiday, CNN journos, in Puerto Vallarta or whatever that cheesy place reference so often on game shows.  Who knows how Clinton pays them off but review the evidence of the coverage.

Clinton vs Trump is typical Old School versus Insane New School and she will likely go down as fast as Jeb Bush, she doesn't know any particularly new dances.

Regardless of political persuasion the debate between Sanders and Trump could be fascinating.  The comparison of new ideas vs crazy ones would be intriguing and your partisan persuasion will likely lead you to believe which one has the crazy ideas.

Clinton is simply not interesting, she's just too simple and obvious.  A debate with she and Trump would only be two hours of fishwives shouting at each other, talking over each other, and being generally as bad-mannered as they can.  I doubt I would even watch but I don't believe it will happen anyway.

The GOP quandary seems to be how do we snuff Trump and get our own ringer into it but they can't do it without hijacking the convention.  They already know that place will be loaded with guns so this is one bona fide hell of a mess.  Unknown how that will play but Trump remains, at least for now, the presumptive GOP nominee.  Ain't that a strange thing to behold.

Here's a useless tidbit as likely the best the GOP has currently got is Arnold Schwarzenegger, notwithstanding the fact he's a shit tool in his personal life.  Perhaps he was too moderate for the GOP at a higher level anyway.

Dayum, this is sure one strange race!
