As the Piffle Palace (Facebook) Drops, the Blog Increases

For the last three days, the blog has been bangin' higher each day and those three have been significantly higher than the activity in recent times.  The variable is unclear as I would not have been surprised if it went the other direction.  The explanation for the change is more analysis than we need but one readily-apparent change is almost zero participation in Facebook now.

In short, Facebook for advertising anything is for complete shit.  What other conclusion should I draw.  A musico friend told me he rarely sold anything through posting his CD listings on Facebook and the bulk of his sales came through Second Life.

The purpose isn't to endlessly bash Facebook or that becomes just as trivial as Facebook itself.  The biggest problem on there is fumpwuggles, people who only read their own stuff as they drift in a near-catatonic state of self-adoration.  That's resoundingly true for the transgender basher and likewise for any type of Second Life griefers who take that chickenshit griefing to the social networks.  We know multiple transgender people and, thus far, that one is the only flaming dipshit.  Have another drinkie, honey.

wtf ... you expect all transgenders will be role models?  Now you tell me who is warped!  (larfs)

Sometimes they won't even tell you.  Yes, I know this from personal experience.  There's no need for detail but I will say it's a near-facsimile and you know something is really weird but more than that is unnecessary.  That only happened once and it's happened sometimes transgenders have been murdered for pulling that stunt.  Those situations are different and we don't want the gory details.

The only thing really to come from Facebook has been a loathing of idle chatter which is forgotten almost as soon as it is uttered.  It's your life, why the hell do you waste it.

As to reading my own stuff here, sure, I will do that.  I've learned to proof the text after publishing it because a pile of formatting problems or whatever will usually show up at that time.  After I'm satisfied the content is ok, that's likely the last time I will look at it unless we're going on a nostalgic deep dive back to Greece.

When that's complete, get on with it, time to make something else.  I was talking with Tinkerbell this morning and she has the same disease insofar as she never stops making things.  I asked of the pencil drawing she did of a dancer which was ultra-realistic and a fantastic piece but she said it burned up in a fire years ago when their house in Bloomington, Indiana, self-destructed.

I had sold a beautiful black Ovation guitar to my brother-in-law some time previously and that was torched also in the blaze.  That tells me they must have been damn lucky to get out with the kids as it sure doesn't seem there was time for anything else.   Perhaps it happened when they were away but I'm not sure of that detail.

While she did not pursue drawing of that nature after that picture, she moved into various other things such as architectural models and multiple things which she thought she needed to pursue in her way.  I said everyone in the family is an artist and is creative in various ways while some call it art and some don't.  The only real variable I see is I'm more public about it.

My own biggest mistake is failing to take my own work seriously enough and that's all about belief in yourself, etc, etc.  In part, that's why I won't upload crap MP3 files anymore.  Give the best or it's no gift at all.  Oh, hi there, how about a wok or a toaster for your participation (snort).
