Image from WIKI: SS Exodus 1947 after British takeover
Jews attempted to emigrate to Palestine after World War II in 1947 and were met with massive resistance from British Naval forces. The British do not own this dark story but their naval forces gave the strongest resistance and only about sixteen hundred people ever made it to Palestine because the British and the Allied forces put them into more camps in Cyprus and elsewhere.
Some say today it was Arabs making the blockade but it's cynical rubbish as the Allies own this one with the British at the forefront of it.
There may be some absolution from these stains on our history through better behavior now, much better behavior. Yes, that includes Israel and that's why it doesn't matter to me who sings this song. All of us have skin in it.
Note: irrelevant goodie is the worst toupee in all human history in roughly the third row.
It's the same people now and they only want to go home but they can't.
(Ed: which people?)
All of us.

And when the British withdrew from Palestine,Israel declared the Jewish state and were attacked by Jordan, Egypt, Iraq, Syria and ,Lebanon. All of whom had been massing at their respective borders in anticipation of British withdrawal. Yeah live and let live.
That absolves the British and cohorts of what they did?? Unclear on your point.
Do we need review of the formation of Israel in part through acts of terrorism such as the explosion at the King David Hotel involving former Israeli PM, Begin?
Everything goes around.
