So, Mister Postman, whatcha got in that box?? It couldn't be the replacement looper which was not due to arrive until Monday, could it??
Yep, damn sho' is. I bet you haven't heard Gee Whillickers in a while but it goes quite nicely just now.
So, Gee Whillickers!
Loading of just shy of 140 MB of loops was successful. Stock system data was loaded from the RC-50 for backup and my system data was downloaded back to the looper. In not quite the twinkling of an eye, the looper was fully-populated with everything which existed previously on mine.
Note: the USB connection for a looper which will be used for more than one-off musical applications is vital and, as you see above, can save your neck (i.e. your music).
Validation of the looper was successful for playback of the song for "The End of the World in Fort Worth" which uses three phrase loops (i.e. individual phrases within one loop, independent from one another).
Various audio levels were validated for clean and clear playback.
Verdict: bangin'. Now it's got the feelin' and I was tangling with a bit of Ernie Isley and playing a bit on the bottom on F and bouncing up a fifth to wiggle around and ... so on. Bangin' good.
Recording has not been validated but I was tuckered after that so the final validation will take place in the next round.
After that, I can notify the seller the deal is complete and, um, thanks for savin' me life. I am not exaggerating in a tiny way because music is my life and it's been stopped cold ... well ... not entirely cold as that's disrespectful to the Galaxy Guitar and she sings just fine all by herself. She's wanting her demented pals, tho, and now they're back.
Gadzooks! Happiness is the absence of things which suck and that just nullified one gigantic suck.
And, thus, I say again, Gadzooks!
Thank you deeply for helping to make this happen.
